BSME 2020 Talent Awards shortlist announced. I’m on it.

A rare bit of good news last week amongst all this lockdown madness.

I’ve been shortlisted in the British Society of Magazine Editors’ 2020 Talent Awards.

I’ve been given the nod in the ‘Best Digital Writer’ category for the work I’ve been doing for the Wanderlust magazine website after being nominated by my incredible editor, Elizabeth Atkin.

The winners will be announced at a glittering online event in June.

To be honest, I don’t hold out much hope of being one of them. I’m up against some pretty big names writing for some pretty big titles.

But in these funny old times, it’s nice to have my work recognised.

Any who knows? It might help get me some more gigs once this whole lockdown thing is over.
