Date night at Papa Zouk’s

This photo was taken in Papa Zouk’s, a really cool fish and rum bar in St Johns.

I snapped it surreptitiously on my phone when I was in Antigua back in February.

Something about the scene appealed to my sense of humour.

The young couple were obviously on a date.  

But there, barely a foot away, was a Seth Rogen look-a-like nursing a baby.

In my mind, Seth and the baby were a warning, a harbinger of consequences should the evening go too well.

I think they guy picked up that vibe too.

He seemed hell bent on sabotaging the evening by paying more attention to his phone than his date.

Of course, I could be reading way too much into the scene.

But  hey, it helped me pass the time as I waited for my entree.
