Every October the Seychelles celebrate their creole culture with the annual Festival Kreol.

There’s a huge program of cultural events, held across all the islands, culminating in a colourful parade through the streets of the capital, Victoria.

Like everything in the Seychelles, the parade is a little chaotic and shambolic.

No-one is ever really sure what is going on, but it all somehow comes together anyway.

There’s lots of singing and dancing and plenty of delicious creole snacks and drinks.

Everyone has a load of fun. And, more importantly, they make sure you do too.
