I get a lot of emails from people wanting to become a travel writer. Which is great. It's a terrific job and I heartily recommend pursuing it as a career.

Trouble is, if I answered all those emails I wouldn't get any work done. So I've distilled everything I've learned over the years into a single page of hard-won advice.
