The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed that my website is looking a little different these days. There’s a sexy new slider panel at the top featuring photos of me in my various incarnations as a traveller. And a lot of pop-ups and panels featuring what the cool folk like to call ‘social media’ widgets for my Facebook and Twitter musings.
My aim is that it will create a bit of a community spirit here. I’ve added the ability to add comments to the bottom of each book page and little Twitter and Facebook buttons on each post to encourage sharing.
But more importantly, I’m hoping that al the flashy ‘social media’ widgets will give you the impression that there’s always something fresh and exciting going on here.
Even when the reality is that I’m on the school run or unwinding with a quick game of Civilisation.
