Leap Local, a website that puts travellers in touch with local guides, are running a travel writing competition. And they’ve asked me to be one of the judges.
First prize is $US500 – not to be sniffed at – and there are two runners-up prizes of $US150. Entries have to be in by midnight September 30, so you’ve only got a couple of weeks.
I’ve been asked to point out that all entrants need to follow the competition guidelines – apparently they’ve had a few entries that haven’t and will thus be disqualified. So don’t lose you chance to win some cash by ignoring or skim reading a few basic rules.
Just one more thing – I’ve taken an oath to be impartial and above reproach. So any brown paper bags stuffed with cash that arrive on my doorstep will be returned to sender.
Sadly.
This is where you'll find everything you need to know about me and my books.
