Pete and the Paparazzi

Last week I spent the day with a paparazzi chap. The idea was to get a different perspective on London. One you don’t get from Lonely Planet.

There weren’t too many A-Listers about. Most were off sunning themselves in the south of France. So we had to make do with harassing a Chemical Brother, ignoring Sharleen Spiteri and chasing a black 4WD that may or may not have contained Guy Ritchie.

I learned a couple of things. There are more paparazzi around than you imagine. They hide in little white vans so they look like workmen. And they guard their photos like they are state secrets.

Now that I know what I’m looking for I see them everywhere, including one driving through Epsom the other day.

God only knows why.

I suspect he was lost.

Nice shot :-) So did the 4WD contain Guy Ritchie in the end?

No! It was his 4WD. But the guy was just delivering a ‘package’ from the management office to the production office.
