When you ride a scooter choosing what to wear can be a bit of a dilemma. Especially when the weather is crap. Or you want a bit of a protection.
Sure, you could whack on the same stuff motorcyclists wear. But all that kevlar looks a bit ridiculous when you’re on a Vespa. And it kind of takes away from the whole reason you’re on a scooter anyway – to look cool.
That’s why I was so excited when I got an email from Phil Jones, the guy who runs Vroom by the Sea in Brighton. He’s started an on-line clothing store called Scooter Wear that stocks stuff that is highly practical and eminently stylish. Plus he’s giving away copies of my book Vroom with a View with most purchases.
As you guys know, I don’t advertise stuff on this website. It’s not what petermoore.net is about, or what I’m about for that matter. But when I find something that impresses me I like to let you guys know about it as well.
I mean, even a Lammy rider would look good in the Armadillo Khaki Parka!
This is where you'll find everything you need to know about me and my books.
