The terror that is Legoland

Pirate FallsI took Daisy to Legoland yesterday. It’s school holidays so every kid under 12 in London was there.

I don’t usually talk about Daisy on this blog. Two reasons. First – I lose all critical faculties when discussing her. Second – Sally is convinced some psycho fan will kidnap her. I tried telling Sally that my fans are normal but she simply reminded of the scantily-clad girl who kept sending me pictures of herself.

But I decided to risk the wrath of Sally so I could show you this photo.

It was taken on the Pirate Falls ride.

I laugh every time I look at it.

Does that make me a bad parent?

That’s a funny photo, I can see why you laugh when you look at it. I bet she wanted to go on it again. My daughter was scared witless the first time we went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at EuroDisney last xmas. We ended up riding it nearly 15 times with a 4 year old leaning out of the boat trying to touch the pirates.

That is a truly great photo. It says everything about the two of you!

    it’s a great photo.

Being a child is all about having your parents laugh at you when you’re scared or hurt :)

I think that makes you a good dad, because when you can’t laugh with that photo, there’s something wrong :-D

Photo is great. One for the 21st birthday album. What Dad wouldn’t want to share that?

We have our Royal Adelaide Sho on this coming week, I am hoping to get my 6 year old daughter on one of these rides. Look at us gushing parents talking about our kids, isnt it great!
