Merry Christmas one and all

PrawnsJust got back from the local fish co-op with a kilo of Aussie prawns. (Set me back $AU19.50.) And I’m off to my sister’s place to enjoy them with a cold beer or two.

Not sure when I’ll be blogging next so I thought I’d take the opportunity to wish you guys a very Merry Christmas and thanks you for your support this year. I’ve been pretty slack answering emails but each one of them was very much appreciated.

Anyway, better go. But before I do, I’d like to point you towards my contribution in an article published on Sunday in The Observer about celebrating Christmas around the world. You’ll find it here.

Have a good one!

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Peter! I miss the Christmas time I spent in OZ. Throw a shrimp on a barbie for me too :-)

Merry Christmas Pete. Enjoy the cool weather. Perth suffered through a 43C Xmas Day, and a 44.5C Boxing Day. Absolutely atrocious behaviour from Mother Nature, must have a word to her about her little jokes.
Oh and I received Vroom by the Sea from Santa. Hurrah! Already halfway thru & loving every page. Another triumph, sir.

Although Melbourne had a mild Christmas day, we are dealing with a very hot new year period (over 40 degrees on 29 Dec & NYE)! Have just started reading Vroom by the Sea, leaving it as my new year’s treat! Am loving it from page 1: the slide show is so picturesque and will return to it as I make my way through the book.
