This photo was taken at Epsom station while I waited for the first of three trains that would take me to Heathrow. There was a hard frost and the trains was delayed because the rails were icy.
One 24-hour flight with Qantas later – it was an hour and a half late leaving Heathrow – and I find myself on the other side of the world.
This one was taken at the harbour end of Glebe Point Road when I got up this morning in Sydney. It was sunny and warm and the jacarandas are flowering.
The other thing thing that struck was just how Australian it is here. and how much I miss that.
This is where you'll find everything you need to know about me and my books.
welcome home Peter!! It’s funny isn’t it, how Australian Australia can be!
hey unfortunately I’m not going to be able to make it to gleebooks tonight, bummer, I was really looking forward to it!
Hope it all goes well.
I’m homesick – the Liffey looks NOTHING like that.
C’mon Kevin 07!!
