I’ve been using WordPress for my blog for a couple of years now and figured it was time to upgrade the original version I installed.Big mistake. The 5-Step easy upgrade process has turned into one of those staircases you see in an Escher etching.
With a manuscript due at the end of the month it’s the last thing I need. In fact, it was madness for me to even attempt it now. But what’s done is done, as my old man would say.
Anyway, this is was going to be the temporary home for my blog until I have time to figure out how to fix my old one.
Comments:
I quite like it!

Yeah, it’s not bad for a supplied theme.
Only prob is that it’s hosted elsewhere. I’m kind of anal in that I like everything under my total control.
Trouble is, that control, as the attempted upgrade shows, is in my mind only!

‘What’s done is done’ … thanks for the wee trip down memory lane. Reading that took me back to my childhood.
I was sitting in a tapas bar in Salamanca the other day and this American guy said, ‘I shit you not’ and I had to get him to repeat, just for the simple ‘ting’ that comes from hearing something that reminds me of the wee country downunder.
