After meeting the great man I made my way over to Harry’s Loft on East 19th Street. The NY Writers Circle was meeting there and I was invited to talk to them. It’s organised by a really switched on Australian girl called Callia. I joked with my publisher that it was all part of the Kangaroo Mafia looking after their own.
They were a really friendly, talented bunch. Antony the Urban Realist bought me a beer. And I finally stumbled back to my hotel by 1 am. Which would have been fine except I had to be up at six to get out to La Guardia to catch a flight to New Orleans.
When will I learn?
This is where you'll find everything you need to know about me and my books.
It was nice meeting you there.

Check you out Peter Moore!
I know its not very cosmopolitan but can you come to Bristol when you have a new release in the UK?
I’ll buy you a beer – you seemed to be seduced by beer .. a bit like
Homer Simpson
Later!
Millie
Hi Millie,
I agree with you, Peter should get his *** to Bristol. It’s a great place. Loads of history. Plenty of Water too. Fecund with bars – serving BEER.
He could find out all about IKB.
But I’ve tried and failed to get him here. Spoken to enthusiastic book store managers and everything.
What’ll we do? Now he’s gone all ‘stars and bars’ we’ll probably never get him here!
Hi Millie and Ian,
I would love to come to Bristol. So how’s this. When Crikey comes out I’ll definitely come over. Hopefully to one of the enthusiastic bookstores Ian was talking about. Or if they’re not so enthusiastic any more, to one of the pubs Millie is talking about.
That’s a promise!
Crikey, that’s excellent news.
Millie – we did it!
Peter,
It was such a pleasure having you and your publisher Lori (of Centro Publishing) as guests at our NYC WRITERS CIRCLE event. Everyone’s been talking about how informative and entertaining your talk was.
I feel guilty for keeping you up drinking until late when you had an early morning flight, but we were all having so much fun. Please visit us again.
Here are some photos from the night:

Your Kangaroo Mafioso in New York,
Callia
Peter, my brother, if only one beer had you stumbling back to your room at one am, you could have had five more and went straight to the airport! I really enjoyed your company, and hope that all goes well with your literary endeavors. Peace, Love and Mentality.
Hi Peter, thanks for sharing your stories – it was lovely to meet you!
