Well I certainly earned my keep today. Me and my US publicist Cait pounded the pavements visiting book stores in every corner of Manhattan. From Three Lives & Company on 10th to Rizzoli’s on 57th and every Barnes and Noble and Borders inbetween there weren’t too many book stores that we didn’t drop in and sign a few books in.
That we got to meet so many booksellers is a credit to Cait’s organisational skills. That’s a pic of her plan up above. I reckon all those black lines, circles and arrows that plotted our route look like the tactics for a Gridiron move.
Here’s hoping it ends up with a touchdown.
[Again, no taxis. We walked.]
This is where you'll find everything you need to know about me and my books.
Any more NYC area events planned?
I’d love to meet you and get an autograph. Though I gave away my copy of The Wrong Way Home and your The Full Montezuma has been backordered for weeks now at Amazon. I’ll have to buy another copy of The Wrong Way Home. I picked it up at a BookCrossing convention in Dunedin, NZ, brought it home to NYC (via Queensland), took it to Toronto, Canada to another BookCrossing convention and it seems to be in Massachusetts now.

Glad to hear Cait got you walking, Peter, it was about time you got some exercise. Too many taxis will go to your waistline!
Following your tour’s been very entertaining, by the way. Keep up the good work.
Peter, you’re living every wannabe writers dream!
Good luck with the rest of the tour – glad to hear you are having so much fun out there.
NYC really is a great city to be in. Whenever I’m there I feel revitalised and ready to take on the world again.

Hey Peter,
Really enjoying the tour blog, sounds like everything is going well! Make sure you eat lots of bagels in NYC.
Adam
It sounds grand, knew it would go well but I really miss the taxi drivers … more please?
