I just got an email from Paul Hansford, one of my ex-editors at TNT. He apologised for the way my column was dumped – even though he was long gone when it happened – and thanked me for my contribution over the years.
It made me realise I was probably a bit harsh on some of the people at TNT in my previous blog, especially editors like Paul and Holly Wainwright who were aways friendly and appreciative. So, sorry guys, I wasn’t taking potshots at you.
I just wish the new guy had given me the chance to do a farewell column!
